Faithful Roofing is a family-owned business in Texas created founded to bring quality home repairs to their community at an affordable rate. After speaking with the owner it became clear how integral his personal faith played into the moral compass of the business, and how he wanted to be visually distinct from his competition.
I came into the first official meeting with this idea already sketched out, and after the pitch, the owner was completely on board and signed off on this concept. It wasn't just luck that led to this quick agreement, but hours of research ahead of time and dedication to distilling the core principles that I knew needed to be quickly communicated with the icon and branding.
The cross is centered between the letter F and the abstract R, symbolizing how the owner's faith is at the center of his business. Additionally, the icon can be interpreted as an extended R with a cross at the center, showing the focus on the roofing portion of their services.
Alex hopes to continue expanding the services of the business, and the simplicity of this logo will allow him to tie in other ventures under the primary umbrella of this brand.
